Of Counsel Sanford Shatz and Associate Zeeshan Iqbal (Irvine) will present “A Review of the United States & California Supreme Court’s Cases Impacting the Banking & Lending Industries” for the Orange County Bar Association Banking & Lending Section in Newport Beach, California, on August 15, 2023.

The United States Supreme Court issued numerous opinions in the second half of its term impacting the Banking and Lending Industry and people who use Banking and Lending Services. The California Supreme Court has also focused on this area. Sandy and Zee will lead a discussion of these cases and how they impact businesses. They will also analyze cases that will be considered by the Court in the next year and summarize the cases that sought but did not obtain Supreme Court review.
