Corporate, Real Estate Attorney Aukse Joiner Rejoins McGlinchey in Baton Rouge
Read Time: 1 minMcGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that Aukse Joiner has returned to the firm as Of Counsel in the Baton Rouge office. With a diverse background in complex commercial transactions, title work, and litigation, Aukse is a multi-faceted real estate and corporate lawyer. McGlinchey has hired 48 attorneys so far in 2023, and Aukse is the second senior attorney to join the Baton Rouge office this year. She is also the fifth “boomerang” hire to return to McGlinchey since January, 2022.

Returning to McGlinchey after four years as a national commercial underwriter, Aukse previously led numerous high profile multi-site portfolios. With almost 20 years in real estate finance law, her experience ranges from closing transactions with developers and setting up homeowners and condominium associations to working in land use and zoning for the city of Chicago. As a litigator, her clients have spanned HOAs and condo associations, institutional lenders, and various parties in title disputes.

Licensed to practice in California, Illinois, and Louisiana, Aukse holds a J.D. from University of California at San Diego and a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Tulane University/ Humboldt University, Berlin. She also earned a B.A. in International Studies from Loyola University Chicago.
