Employee Retention Paramount in ‘Great Resignation’ Age

While pay, advancement opportunities and professional developments are cornerstones of a worker’s thought process when deciding whether staying at a company is the right move, there are a host of other tertiary things companies can do to appeal to them, according to Bickford.
But for employers, that means being willing to embrace change and try new things, she said.
“Things that we’re seeing [that] are successful are work-life balance items,” Bickford said, noting that employers taking a fresh look at the benefits they offer is useful when thinking about how to retain workers.
