Hembree Contributes Mississippi Chapter to ABA Commercial Lending Law Guide

Dewey Hembree III (Jackson) was a contributing author for the American Bar Association’s Commercial Lending Law: A Jurisdiction-by-Jurisdiction Guide to U.S. and Canadian Law, Third Edition. Leading practitioners from each state and jurisdiction contributed to the comprehensive two-volume set, a valuable resource for commercial lenders and lawyers responsible for negotiating or reviewing commercial lending laws outside their own jurisdiction. Dewey authored the publication’s chapter on Mississippi.
Published in November of 2023 and featuring contributions from experts across the country, this practical guide outlines all aspects of commercial lending laws in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Canada, including:

Dewey is an experienced trial attorney who advises clients on commercial litigation, focusing on title insurance, consumer finance, and business disputes. In his 30 years of practice, he has represented clients in more than 100 trials to verdict, including numerous jury trials, in state and federal courts throughout Mississippi, Arkansas, and Texas. He has also handled cases before bankruptcy and appellate courts.
