Member Jim Milano (Washington, DC) will join a panel, “Increasing Access to Alternatives to Stick Built Housing,” at the American Bar Association Forum on Affordable Housing & Community Development Law 2023 Annual Meeting on May 25, 2023, in Washington, DC. This panel will analyze policy issues such as increasing access to and space for manufactured housing and opportunities for ownership of manufactured housing developments by residents. In addition, this panel will examine how developers are working through zoning restrictions, chattel financing, low-income housing tax credits, and other financing issues to develop alternatives to stick built housing.
