Kerry Cummings to Lead McGlinchey’s Fort Lauderdale Office

McGlinchey Stafford is proud to announce the appointment of Kerry Ann Cummings as the Office Managing Member of its Fort Lauderdale office. Kerry brings a wealth of legal expertise and leadership skills to her new role, which will further enhance the firm’s presence and service offerings in the South Florida region. Kerry is a respected litigator with a track record of success in financial services, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, and related mortgage and title matters.

“It is my privilege to charge Kerry with the important role of leading and growing our team in Fort Lauderdale,” said Michael Ferachi, Managing Member. “In her ten years with the firm, she has proven a proactive leader whose infectious enthusiasm and commitment to client service represent McGlinchey values well. With eight attorneys in Fort Lauderdale and other remote employees across South Florida, McGlinchey has become a cornerstone of legal excellence in the area, providing comprehensive legal services to clients across various industries. Kerry’s appointment underscores the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional legal counsel and strategic guidance to its clients.

Licensed in Florida, Kerry holds a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center and a B.S. from the University of Florida. She has been recognized among The National Black Lawyers Top 100 in 2023 and 2024 and the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch (Commercial Litigation and Financial Services Regulation Law) in 2021.
