Litigator Alyssa Szymczyk Joins McGlinchey in Washington, DC
Read Time: 2 minsMcGlinchey Stafford announces the addition of Alyssa Szymczyk to the firm’s Financial Services Litigation group as an associate attorney in its Washington, DC office. Alyssa is one of the 50 attorneys McGlinchey has welcomed in 2023, as part of a focused recruitment initiative aimed at expanding its nationally recognized team. Alyssa is the third attorney and seventh professional hire McGlinchey has added in DC this year.

With over six years of experience focused in the financial services industry, Alyssa represents banks, mortgage lenders and servicers, debt collectors, and other financial institutions in litigation in state and federal courts in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. She adeptly defends clients’ interests in matters related to the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), and related statutes.

Licensed to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, Alyssa received her J.D. cum laude from Florida A&M University College of Law. She also received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida.
