Looking Ahead of the Curve: The Future of Commercial-Transportation Litigation

Jury verdicts seem to have become more unpredictable than ever before. Venues that were deemed to be moderate, or even sometimes conservative, are yielding higher-than-expected verdicts.

Member Tarush Anand (Houston) will present on a panel, “Looking Ahead of the Curve: The Future of Commercial-Transportation Litigation,” at the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) Annual Conference in Tampa on Thursday, March 30, 2023.

Tarush will join Ben Faurote (Claims Litigation Manager for Central Mutual Insurance Company), Jacob A. Moreno (Vice President of Claims for Qualitas Insurance Company), and Nicolette Strydom (Senior Technical Claims Specialist for American Mutual Insurance Company) to explore trends, attempt to predict what comes next, and discuss how claims evaluation, handling, and defense techniques and tactics must adapt in light of these new challenges.

While the session will address these issues through the lens of commercial transportation claims, the discussion will be relevant and applicable to most practice areas.
