McGlinchey Adds Commercial Litigator Thomas White in Houston
Read Time: 1 minMcGlinchey welcomes Thomas White, Jr. to the firm’s Houston office as an Associate in the Commercial Litigation Section. He handles everything from complex commercial matters to financial services litigation, frequently representing banks and loan servicers in claims arising under a variety of federal and state consumer protection statutes.
“Thomas’s legal experience paired with his industry familiarity make him a great addition to our team here in Houston,” said Matt Manning, a Commercial and Consumer Financial Services Litigation Team Leader and Member in McGlinchey’s Houston office.
Before joining McGlinchey, Thomas was an associate at Zabel Freeman, where he represented natural gas utilities and common carriers in eminent domain and condemnation proceedings. Prior to that, Thomas was an associate at a firm that represented property owners associations in state court litigation and federal bankruptcy cases. He has a particular knowledge of provisions in the Texas Property Code relating to foreclosure and other related proceedings.
“Thomas’s knowledge of the regulatory framework surrounding real estate and real property will be a tremendous benefit to our clients in Texas and nationwide,” said Anthony J. Rollo, Jr., who leads the firm’s national Commercial Litigation practice.
Thomas holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center. He also earned a B.A. in History and a B.S. in Radio/TV/Film from the University of Texas at Austin, both with honors.
