McGlinchey Adds Three Attorneys in New Orleans

Pamela Gautier, Melissa Losch, and Taylor Lombardo have joined the firm’s New Orleans office, bringing their deep knowledge to the firm’s Labor & Employment, Enterprise Litigation and Investigations, and Financial Services Litigation practice groups, respectively.

McGlinchey is proud that these three women add to a total of 16 female attorneys the firm has hired as of August 9, 2023. For the second year in a row, McGlinchey was named among the 2024 “Best Law Firms for Women” by Vault’s associate ranking survey. Based on responses from McGlinchey’s associates, the firm was also ranked as a 2024 “Best Law Firms for Racial and Ethnic Diversity” and “Best Law Firms for Diversity Overall.”

Pamela Gautier is joining the Enterprise Litigation and Investigations practice group as Of Counsel, strengthening McGlinchey’s capabilities in defending high-stakes liability lawsuits. Pamela’s commitment to understanding her clients’ objectives and potential exposures allows her to develop comprehensive strategies and trial plans. Her diligent approach, combined with her meticulous analysis of documents and case files, fortifies her clients’ positions and prepares them for successful resolutions.
Pamela’s practice focuses on defending insurers in personal injury, premises liability, property and casualty defense, insurance coverage matters, product liability, and more. Notably, she achieved a remarkable defense verdict in a $1.5 million claim before the Orleans Civil District Court. Clients rely on Pamela’s dedication and attention to detail, appreciating her constant communication and unwavering commitment to resolving claims efficiently and effectively.
Taylor Lombardo joins the firm’s nationally recognized Financial Services Litigation practice group as an Associate. Taylor brings outstanding work ethic and notable professionalism to her litigation practice, representing national banks, lenders, servicers, and other financial institutions in state and federal court. She provides strategic counsel on claims brought under various laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act (HOEPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA)/Regulation Z, and related state laws.
Taylor’s diverse experience includes representing employers, adjusters, individual plaintiffs, and private companies, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in discovery, depositions, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy.
Melissa Losch joins McGlinchey’s Labor & Employment practice group as Of Counsel, offering a practical and efficient approach to complex challenges and disputes. With a focus on guiding school boards and public entities, Melissa navigates constitutional law and discrimination claims, special education issues, and concerns under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Her adept counsel extends to matters involving Title VII and Title IX violations, where she provides strategic advice to business employers and represents them in related litigation.
Clients appreciate Melissa’s responsive and results-oriented approach, honed during her experience on “the other side of the table” at a non-profit law center early in her career. With a seasoned perspective, Melissa identifies optimal paths to victory, whether in the courtroom, during mediations, arbitrations, or at the negotiating table. As an advocate for proactive risk management, she delivers regular training programs to help clients stay ahead of evolving legal issues.
