McGlinchey Attorneys to Present at 2023 Midwest Cannatech Conference

Member Jim Sandy (Cleveland), Of Counsel David Waxman (Cleveland), and Of Counsel Chase Stoecker (Fort Lauderdale) will participate in two sessions at the Midwest Cannatech Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio, on June 28, 2023.

First, they will lead a roundtable discussion on “Raising Capital: Sources, Options, and Keys to Success” to hear from participants on how they have raised funds for their businesses as well as long-term specialists that have worked with hundreds of companies to raise capital. This will be an open discussion on everything from keys to preparing financial information through how and whom to approach.

Their “Emerging Issues in Cannabis Law” presentation will hash out current hot-button issues facing the cannabis industry, such as the regulation of delta-8, transportation of cannabis revenue and equipment, lending, leasing, and financing equipment for use in the manufacturing and sale of cannabis, bankruptcy, labor, and employment laws, and the Cole Memo priorities.
