For these rankings, U.S. News evaluated firms that are included in the Leopard Solutions database. Firms also needed to have a minimum of 10 U.S.-based Glassdoor reviews from Jan. 1, 2020 – Dec. 31, 2023, per Revelio Labs’ data. To create the list, U.S. News adjusted the weights of the six metrics from the weights used in the general category to reflect data specific to law firms (such as promotion to partner) and to emphasize metrics that are uniquely available to law firms. U.S. News’ evaluation is based on subjective analysis of editorially curated selection of publicly available information, including company websites and employee disclosures on platforms like Glassdoor and LinkedIn.
Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings. The rankings were determined using Best Companies Group’s algorithm. The algorithm uses data from each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics, as well as data from an employee survey that measured the employee experience. The overall scores determined which workplaces were recognized and which were ranked in the top of their category.
