A joint annual publication of U.S. News and Best Lawyers, “Best Law Firms” is based on a rigorous evaluation process involving client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys in specific areas of law, and a review of formal submissions from law firms that provided supplemental information. In-house legal departments and peer lawyers across the country evaluated firms based on their responsiveness, understanding of a business and its needs, cost-effectiveness, integrity, and civility, as well as whether they would refer a matter to the firm and/or consider the firm a worthy competitor.
