McGlinchey Welcomes Litigator Nick O’Conner in Houston
Read Time: 1 minMcGlinchey Stafford PLLC is pleased to announce the hire of Nicholas O’Conner in the firm’s national Consumer Financial Services Litigation and Commercial Litigation practice groups in Houston.
Licensed in Texas and admitted to the Texas District Courts and Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, Nick represents McGlinchey’s financial services clients including auto lenders, banks, and mortgage loan servicers in federal and state courts in a wide variety of commercial litigation and financial services litigation matters, with a primary focus on defending consumer financial services litigation claims in lender liability actions. He offers clients a wealth of experience defending against claims brought under the Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA), as well as breach of contract disputes, fraud, and related matters. He has appellate experience and is a certified mediator.
McGlinchey’s Commercial and Consumer Financial Services Litigation practice groups comprise 70 attorneys who represent clients nationwide.

Nick holds a J.D. from South Texas College of Law and a B.S. in Legal Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University. He has prior experience working in sales and logistics, and prior to studying law, Nick spent six years as a Reservist in the United States Marine Corps.
