Michelle McCliman tapped to Lead McGlinchey’s Irvine Office
Read Time: 2 minsMcGlinchey Stafford is proud to announce the appointment of Michelle M. McCliman as the Office Managing Member of its Irvine, California office. Michelle has almost 30 years of litigation experience in firms of all sizes, including managing a firm in private practice. With this addition ten of McGlinchey’s 17 offices are now led by women.

With the addition of Michelle and Kere Tickner in May of 2023, McGlinchey broadened its service capabilities in California beyond financial services litigation. McGlinchey’s Irvine office has also brought on Omomah Abebe as an Associate in the past month. There are 10 attorneys affiliated with the Irvine office, many of whom work remotely across Southern California in accordance with McGlinchey’s flexible work policy. McGlinchey’s Irvine office boasts a diverse community of attorneys and staff of various backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

Michelle is a tenacious litigator who represents clients from individuals and homeowners associations (HOAs) to small businesses and large corporations. She handles high-profile or high-exposure cases in disputes from various contexts: HOAs and landlord/tenant matters, toxic torts, and personal injury claims of wrongful death, traumatic brain injuries, and others. She has also handled litigation matters involving employment and intellectual property issues. She also advises on employment law, trade secrets, trademarks, and copyrights, as well as unfair competition, business torts, and general business disputes.
Licensed in California, Michelle holds a J.D. from the University of California, Davis, School of Law and an undergraduate degree from University of California, Berkeley.
