Regulatory Compliance in the Residential Lending Cycle

Sanford Shatz (Irvine) will co-present a session on regulatory compliance in the residential lending cycle during the CMCP track of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Conference on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. Sandy and his co-presenter will provide an overview of the lending process through the entire life of the loan and the regulatory compliance responsibilities in each phase.

Focus areas will include how regulatory compliance affects marketing and advertising; origination and application; processing; underwriting and disposition; closing and post-closing; and servicing, as well as laws that impact the overall process.
