VanTroost to Speak at 2022 ALA Chapter Leadership Institute

Jessica VanTroost, Strategic Operations Administrator, will participate in two panels during the upcoming Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) Chapter Leadership Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada.

On Friday, July 15, 2022, Jessica will join a panel discussion titled “Don’t Bet Against Your Business Partners: Work Together for a Winning Team.” Growing or building a business program can be daunting. The panel, which will include perspectives from small, medium, and large chapters, will focus on elevating relationships and improving engagement and involvement between members and business partners.

The following day, Jessica will co-present a session on how to keep your chapter relevant. Many chapters today have four-plus generations of members and are finding the “way we’ve always done it” is not working anymore. How do you stay relevant in the digital age? It’s time to rethink who your members are and who you want — and need — to attract to keep the chapter going. Attendees at the session will apply a SWOT analysis to identify a chapter’s strengths and opportunities for improvement, discuss buy-in from current and legacy members on new and changing initiatives, and collect ideas from other chapter leaders on how to recruit, engage, and communicate with members innovatively.
