“We are excited to expand our presence in the Washington, D.C. office with an attorney like Shan,” said Megan Ben’Ary, Managing Member of McGlinchey’s Washington, D.C. office. “His background and experience will serve us well as we continue to grow our litigation and investigations team here in D.C.”

Admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Connecticut, Shan earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a member of the Order of the Barristers, edited two law reviews, and became only the second student in Georgetown history to win both the first-year and upper-class moot court competitions. He also earned an M.F.A. from Sarah Lawrence College, where he currently serves on the Board of Trustees, and a B.A. from Vassar College. The proud son of political refugees, Shan is a native Mandarin speaker.
